The first collection from Miss Selfridge shown here, has folkloric elements in the printed
fabrics and trims. Typically, floral fabric prints
have small ditzy rosebuds, dainty leaves and trailing foliage.

This dress is from the Miss Selfridge Russian Peasant range.
It has a lovely folkloric floral rose border print hemline and graduating
smaller rose
pattern over the body. This style of border print dress was very
popular throughout the 1960s and 1970s. You can wear it
either as a day
dress, party dress or tunic over jeans.

Peasant range uses a tiny floral print mixed with lace.
Observe how the back is daringly cut to the waist.
