Fashion Drawings by Carrie

Carrie did these fashion designs sketches for personal enjoyment.  For these fashion designs she used 3.3 mm lead coloured pencils.  She likes to experiment with colours and use different colours in one outfit.  In fact, she loves to emphasize the prints of the fabrics as well.  She uses Philippine flowers like catmon, orchids and so on which inspire her ideas when she sees them locally. The designs below also show some Philippine costume history influence. For example you can see this in the ornate sleeves and flowers in the hair, and the latter fashion for corsages is currently popular worldwide.
