 Costume History Costume Silhouettes 1910 - 1920

There are 3 versions of costume silhouettes in this section. The fashion history silhouettes above and below are a selection of white outlined images of costume history silhouettes of the pre and post first world war years 1910-1920.  You can find them as original detailed fashion history line drawings here.  The thumbnail above will produce only a small, but long image when printed A4 landscape style. If you need blacked out 1910s-1920s silhouette images click here.

The individual fashion outline thumbnails below when clicked to enlarge each create full A4 sized portrait style enlargements, but as a white fashion silhouette instead of the black costume  silhouette and which can save on printing ink.  My original detailed fashion history text information on the 1900s can be found in the main section in the Edwardians here.   You may also be interested in the link to the fashion history text and images on Orientalism in Dress and Poiret. Costume history text on inter war fashion is covered in the section 1914-1955.

Consider making them into costume history timeline wall displays - perhaps place each costume silhouette in an oval or cut out the image to create a stencil timeline of fashion history.  Or use them for children to add their own decorative ideas whilst keeping the elements of the era.

You can also cut out the shape of the silhouette and place fabric and trims behind it for easy costume collage guides.  They are also ideal when cut within the lines to create stencil impressions of costume.

For more detailed drawings click here.

My original detailed text information on the 1910s can be found in the main section in the Edwardians here. You may also be interested in the link to Orientalism in Dress and Poiret as well as Reform in Dress Between 1914 and 1920 .

Timeline ofwhite outline images 1910-1920 on one A4 sheet when enlarged.

You can also print them out as one A4 sheet here using this thumbnail below which is screenshot of the page table above.

You can also cut out the shape of the fashion silhouette and place fabric and trims behind it for easy collage guides. See how to make classroom costume collages here.

Or you can find them as original more detailed line drawings here. All are suitable for colouring in or timelines.

Later this year these images will appear in a more convenient offline storage format in a fashion-era ebook sold here and  which will be also available in Microsoft Word and PDF format.

Click individual thumbnails to create A4 sized enlargements.
